Hiking on Bowen Island

Bowen Island, where is Bowen Island. We had no clue, we googled a little bit and after a while we recognized that Bowen Island is so close to our place that we have seen it a couple of times. Bowen is a Island in the Howe Sound. We caught the bus at about 8am. After a view changes in the transportation system we finally reached the ferry dock at Horseshoe Bay.

the ferry terminal at Horseshoe Bay

well, we were quite early at the ferry terminal. we bought our tickets and went to the waiting room. suddenly I saw people going on the ferry, behind them they closed the gate but we were still in the waiting room. we ran down but couldn't get on the ferry. we had to wait another hour, at least we got our money back and a voucher for $20.

one hour later: our ferry to Bowen Island

do you remember the accident of the ferry in bc, that was here

the ferry ride took about 20 min.

we arrived at Snug Cove an hiked up to Mt. Gardner
